Advancing Science and Engineering through Laboratory Learning Ongoing

Target Audience: Science teachers (with the aid of year 7-10 students)

School teachers collaborate with the ASELL team of university scientists, engineers and educators to enhance or design new laboratory activities. Experiments are re-designed to be more engaging and relevant to the learning outcomes, ultimately enabling long term retention of science concepts. New experiments are then presented at a workshop for professional development.

STAWA Future Science Conference TBC

Target Audience: Teachers and laboratory technicians

The STAWA Future Science Conference has previously been hosted at Curtin for the last 4 years; showcasing enthusiastic experts from science, technology, engineering and maths while exploring cutting edge science. Future Science is designed to stretch your mind while connecting you with activities you can take back to the classroom.

The STAWA Future Science Conference moved between a selection of the university’s through out WA, in 2018 it will be hosted at a new location. Please check the STAWA website for details regarding the 2018 and future conferences.
