ICES accreditation for Surveying and GIS courses
The Department of Spatial Sciences is pleased to announce its formal accreditation by the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) for its Bachelor of Surveying and Bachelor of Science (Geographic Information Science).
The accreditation is an indication of assurance the two programs meet the standards set by industry.
It also assures current and future students have chosen or are choosing quality courses which may provide an advantage in the jobs market.
The Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) is a leading international qualifying body dedicated to the regulation, education and training of surveyors working within civil engineering.
This new accreditation by the ICES follows on from the Department’s already established accreditation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) for the Bachelor of Surveying and the Master of Science (Geospatial Science).
