Staff from the Faculty have received National and International awards for their teaching qualities and practices.
The Curtin Physics Studio was one of the first of its kind in the world and has been the fore-runner for many new and innovative teaching and learning spaces. The new Resources and Chemistry Precinct offers exciting new learning opportunities. The Engineering Pavilion and Plaza, which will house world-class learning spaces, is due to open in 2011.
The Faculty offers substantial scholarships to top-performing students. In 2010, approximately 120 scholarships were awarded to new science and engineering students. Students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, have achieved outstanding results in their science or engineering courses
The Faculty also runs several outreach programs that take science and engineering to schools and the community.
