Learning calligraphy in Wuhan

In December 2014, a group of ten Curtin University’s Science and Engineering students travelled to Wuhan, China for a two week short term mobility program to learn calligraphy at the Wuhan Institute of Technology.

Among other activities, students learned the fine art of calligraphy, while making friends and learning valuable cross-cultural skills to benefit them back home.

“Overall the trip to China was an amazing experience which none of us will ever forget. Most of us were venturing well out of our comfort zones but the results proved to be well worth it. Everyone at Wuhan Institute did an amazing job at making us feel welcome and we hope to visit this incredible country again.”
